Much of the oasis floor here is covered by sprawling shady date palms and speckled with dozens of natural springs, which beg to be plunged into. The surrounding landscape of rocky, sandy mesas is a grand introduction to the Western Desert’s barren beauty. Itinerary
White and Black Deserts at Bahariya Oasis
At 06:00 AM, our tour guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo and to a private air conditioned vehicle to start your road trip to Bahariya Oasis. It is about 350 km west Giza, this journey takes about 4hours, upon arrival to the Oasis, you will change your car to a 4×4 then dive into the desert for 40 km to visit the black desert. Then lunch will be served at a local traditional restaurant looking over a well called el Hez, where you can swim and relax before or after lunch. Then, you will drive for 90 km to the crystal desert & Agbatat desert and some mountains and sand dunes then move to the white desert, which is one of the most beautiful desserts because of its white amazing rocks that forms the shape of so many different things like; mushrooms, chicken & rabbit. Later, you will be escorted back to Cairo.
